Exteriors
Siding, windows, paint, gutters, and hardscape. The front of the house, finished by one team.
The outside of a home is the first thing visitors see and the last thing most contractors get right. ORO treats the exterior as a whole: siding, fascia and soffit, windows and doors, gutters, paint, hardscape, lighting, and fences are designed together so the finished house reads as one piece, not a collection of vendors.
Most of our exterior work goes alongside a roof, a whole-home remodel, or an addition, but we also do standalone exterior refreshes when a home needs a curb-appeal reset without touching the interior.

Common Questions
Do I have to do everything at once?
No. Many clients phase the work: roof and gutters one season, siding and paint the next, hardscape later. We design with the future phases in mind so each step adds to the final look rather than working against it.
What is the best siding option for DFW weather?
Fiber cement (James Hardie) is the most common premium choice in DFW. It handles UV, moisture, and wind well, holds paint, and is fire-resistant. Engineered wood works in the right architectural style. We walk through the trade-offs with you before recommending one.
Will new windows actually save energy?
Modern double-pane, low-E windows make a measurable difference, especially on west and south elevations in Texas. The bigger win is usually fixing air-sealing problems around the windows during install. We do not oversell the energy savings, but we do install them right.
Can you match an existing brick or stone?
Often yes, sometimes no. Older bricks and quarried stones can be discontinued or weathered past matching. We have working relationships with brick and stone yards and can usually find a close match, or design the addition or repair so the difference reads as intentional rather than mismatched.
Do exterior projects need permits?
Most window and door replacements, paint, and minor siding repairs do not. Re-cladding, structural changes, large hardscape installs, fences over a certain height, and additions almost always do. We handle the permit pulls during pre-construction.
